  • Sierra Morena: it is situated in the North of Andalusia. It is formed by rounded and not very high mountains.

  • Béticas Ranges: They are situated in the South and East and they are formed by craggy and high mountains. Sierra Nevada is situated here. Mulhacén is the highest mountain in Andalusia.
  • The Guadalquivir River Basin: It is a big plain situated between Sierra Morena and Béticas Ranges. It has got very fertile soil.
