Wow! Here I am on my last day at school (this year) and I am speechless. I remember coming to school on my very first day, very nervous and very worried I would get lost. I must have asked the bus driver a hundred times when the stop was. I knew no one was expecting me so I wanted to be sure I found the right place. Did I ever!
Although an entire school year has passed, it has gone so fast! I have learned so much from everyone here (faculty, staff, and students alike). I am incredibly grateful for all the help I received from our wonderful English Department and those involved in the Billingual Initiative. And thank you so, so much to my students for being great kids to work with and for making me laugh (and go a little crazy). I know sometimes I probably appear a little crazy in class too, but as long as you learned something I am content. Unlike Miss Stephanie, I don’t have to go back to finish my studies, so, lucky me, I will be here next year! I am really looking forward to it and hope that it will be even better than the last. In the meantime I will spend my summer here in Granada with friends (look for me on my bike on my way to the gym). I will also be working with some American students visiting Granada for the first time to learn Spanish, so I am very excited to show them a wonderful place I have become very fond of. In August, I will go home for two weeks to spend time with my family and friends. I am excited to see everyone at home and eat some good American food (on the barbeque or maybe some of my mom’s excellent lasagna!). Ok guys (as in muchachos, I know what you might be thinking!), I hope you all have a fabulous summer and study English EVERY DAY (haha, just kidding). Can’t wait to see you all next year! (English for post dato) To my great 4th year classes: Thank you for all you dancing, singing and celebrating to send me off last class. You have been wonderful all year and I know no matter what you pursue you will do wonderfully. Please come back and visit!

Well, what a year it has been. I can’t believe how quickly the time has passed. I remember on my very first day, Caroline and I going into a 4th year class and they had to ask us questions to try and guess who was English and who was American. Most people could tell straight away!!
So, from that very first day so much has changed. At first I thought the year was going to pass slowly and that it was going to be really difficult...don’t get me wrong, it has been hard at times. Trying to organize things, planning classes, keeping everybody under control! But this whole year has been a fantastic opportunity for me to help teach english and improve my spanish a little bit as well! So, here I am. I’m sat in the department office, writing this blog on my very last day as an English Assistant. The first day seems like yesterday, and although I’m really looking forward to going back to England to see my family and friends and so I can finish my degree, I am relly going to miss this place. Everything about it: the weather (when it’s sunny), the food, my friends, my collegues and most of all the students. I want to thank every single one of you who has made this year such a special experience for me. So ‘THANKS’. (Or ‘Ta very much chuck’ as I would say in my northern accent!) Please don’t forget about me, I certainly won’t forget about you. I’m sure I will be back to visit at some point next year. Have a fantastic Summer, and hopefully I will see you soon. Take care Miss Stephanie Xx besos xX

WHERE THE BEE SUCKS Where the bee sucks, there suck I. In a cowlip's bell I lie, There I couch when owls do cry. On the bat's back I do fly After summer merrily: Merrily, merrily shall I live now Under the blossom that hangs on the bough.
O, MISTRESS MINE! O, mistress mine! Where are you roaming? O, stay and hear, your true love's coming, That can sing both high and low. Trip no further, pretty sweeting, Journey's end in lovers' meetings- Every wise man's son doth know.
What is love? ‘Tis not hereafter, Present mirth hath present laughter. What's to come is still unsure: In dearly there lies no plenty, Then come and kiss me, sweet and twenty, Youth's stuff will not endure.
SIGH NO MORE, LADIES Sigh no more, ladies, sigh no more, Men were decievers ever, One foot in sea, and one on shore, To one thing constant never. Then sigh not so, But let them go And be you blithe and bonny Converting all your sounds of woe Into Hey no nonny.
Sigh no more ditties, sigh no more Of dumps so dull and heavy, The fraud of men was ever so Since summer first was leavy. Then sigh not so... ...of woe Into hey no, nonny.
TAKE, O TAKE THOSE LIPS AWAY Take, o, take those lips away, That so sweetly were forsworn, And those eyes, the break of day, Lights that do mislead the morn, But my kisses bring again, bring again Seals of love, but seal'd in vain, seal'd in vain.
COME LIVE WITH ME Come live with me and be my love, And we will all the pleasures prove, That hills and valleys, dale, and fields And all the craggy mountains yield.
And we will sit upon the rocks, Seeing the sheperds feed their flocks By shallow rivers, to whose falls Melodious birds sing madrigals.
There will I make thee a bed of roses With a thousand fragrant posies, A cap of flowers, and a kirtle Embroider'd all with leaves of myrtle.

By this we mean that they has separate symbols for one unit, one ten, one hundred, one thousand, one ten thousand, one hundred thousand, and one million. What diferent systems do you know?
