The Olive tree poem
Traditionally, in early December, Martos gets ready for picking up the fruit produced by our main icon: the olive tree. Due to its importance for us, Don Francisco Teva, teacher, composed an artful poem on those who do this work and bring us the precious olive oil. Don Francisco made the students know more about the traditions of our town.

Primero, escribimos el romance en la pizarra.

Averiguamos el significado de palabras y metáforas, de rimas y ritmos.

Ensayamos diferentes formas de cantar los octosílabos.

 Y nos sentimos satisfechos de haber aprendido algo más de nuestras tradiciones y forma de vida.
