Welcome to the "Andalucía Entreculturas" [Intercultural Andalusia] website
The objective of this webpage is to collect together into a single point of access all useful information for the immigrant population in Andalusia.
The Autonomous Community of Andalusia has developed an Integral Plan for Care for the Immigrant in Andalusia to help all immigrants integrate fully within the social, labour and personal network at the heart of Andalusian society. Within this context, the "Consejería de Cultura" [Council for Culture] has implemented a "Project for Multicultural Libraries in Andalusia", with the understanding that public libraries are places which provide access to information and cultural registers for all citizens equally and with a caring, democratic spirit.
This web page is part of this Project and hopes to be a useful tool to help libraries play an active part in helping all ethnic, linguistic and cultural communities currently living in Andalusia to become integrated, with the idea that the immigrant population, wherever it may be, can locate this information.
We have organised the information resources we have compiled into nine large categories, divided in turn into sub-categories. If you cannot find the information you require from this home page, you can use the search engine, keying the word(s) which best describe the information you require. The search engine is interactive, and will help you conduct your search.
