The trail starts at the Arab bridge in Salares.
On the other side of the bridge there is a fountain bearing Andalusí motifs. We follow an old irrigation channel upstream
and come to a pond surrounded by almond, olive, walnut, orange and cherry trees, and orchards.
Moving on through the typically Mediterranean vegetation We come to the hill known as Monte Umbría de la Casa de Haro, with its holm oaks, cork oaks, gall oaks etc. This is one of the best conserved areas of original Mediterranean woodland.
Looking back from the Casa de Haro farmhouse we have a good view of the whole gorge stretching away towards the village, the vegetation gradually giving way to crops fields. At the end of the gorge w can see the Morisco silhouette of Salares.
We continue along the trail and come to the Cruz del Muerto pass,
and then head back towards Salares through the holm oaks and cork trees.
The trail ends back at the bridge.
