The International Andalusian Public Health System Projects Office (OPI-SSPA) is an initiative launched to facilitate the participation of Public Health System professionals and centers affiliated to the Regional Ministry of Health in international programs of R+D+I, especially those promoted by the European Union, and to provide them with comprehensive support for the presentation and management of projects.

The OPI-SSPA is coordinated by the central support and research management entity in the Andalusian Public Health System, the Foundation Progreso y Salud, and it organizes and structures its services together with the entities that form the Andalusian Public Health System Research Management Foundation Network. Through these network services, the OPI-SSPA aims to contribute to the international positioning of R+D+I developed in the Andalusian Public Health System, as well as to guarantee and provide health professionals with the necessary assistance related to participation in these kinds of programs.

WHAT SERVICES DO WE OFFER?
The International Projects Office
The International Projects Office makes services and activities available to the research community in order to facilitate participation in international R+D+I funding programs.

Information and advice services:

  • Theme seminars on R+D+I funding programs
  • Training activities for the management and preparation of European R+D+I projects
  • Personalized meetings to identify funding opportunities and to develop participation strategies
  • Dissemination of funding opportunities (web and weekly eNewsletter)
  • Monitoring participation of the Andalusian Public Health System research groups in international R+D+I initiatives
  • Promoting participation of the Andalusian Public Health System professionals as evaluators in European R+D+I programs

Services for project development

  • Support for designing, drafting and negotiating proposals
  • Search for collaborators/partners and consortium formation
  • Advice on project management
  • Support for topics drafting and defence
