Formación:

El Servicio de Inmunología forma residentes de esta especialidad, Médicos y Biólogos, que reciben la formación teórica y práctica necesaria para el ejercicio de la especialidad. La formación incluye rotaciones en otros servicios del hospital y rotaciones en otros hospitales. Además, residentes de otras especialidades (Hematogía, Análisis Clínicos, Reumatología) hacen estancias temporales en el Servicio de Inmunología.

Dentro de apartado de formación se incluyen las sesiones clínicas de propio Servicio y los seminarios organizados de manera conjunta por el Servicio de Inmunología y la Unidad de Investigación del Hospital (semanales) y por los Servicios de Inmunología y Reumatología (mensuales).

- Formación profesiónal de personal sanitario técnico. Se desarrolla en el marco de los convenios de colaboración entre La Consejería de Educación y Ciencia y la Consejeria de Salud. Los estudiantes de tercer curso de Técnicos de Laboratorio durante tres meses se integran a la actividad asistencial de las distintas secciónes del Servicio. En esta formación colaboran tanto los facultativos como el personal técnico.

Investigación:

Los FEAs de Inmunologia participan activamente en las líneas de investigación del Servicio, dirigiendo y trabajando en sus propios proyectos y/o en colaborando en Proyectos comunes dirigidos por el Jefe de Servicio. Becarios de la Unidad de Investigación , Residentes de la especialidad, Facultativos de otros Servicios y en ocasiónes personal técnico, participan igualmente en los mismos; asi como en los semanarios semanales de la Unidad de investigación y de otros grupos externos (Universidad, Empresas, etc...) con inquietudes afines. Se desarrollan tanto líneas básicas como otras mas aplicadas a la práctica clínica, que a menudo se complementan. Todo ello se traduce en un nivel muy aceptable de publicaciónes en los años de trayectoria del Servicio y en una participación continua con aportaciónes activas en Congresos Naciónales e Internaciónales.
