Ignacio Estudillo

Lives and works in Málaga.
With a Bachelor’s Degree from the Faculty of Seville with a specialism in painting, he studied on the Francisco de Goya Course taught by Antonio López García, graduating with special honours (2010 and 2012). He was awarded second prize in the BP Portrait Award 2012, organised by the National Portrait Gallery in London, and was selected in the 14th international call for young artists at the Luis Adelantado gallery in Valencia.
Recently he received the Young Artist award at the BP Portrait Award 2014.

This group show reflects on the current orientation of institutions and the economic sector's growing interest in the arts, which has become one of Málaga's main tourist draws in recent times: 8 proposals for 8 different spaces.
