Descripción

This training activity is aimed at English and Bilingual teachers in Primary schools. The use of English in the foreign language classroom and the bilingual subjects can create a language environment where the students improve their English skills and learn more about the culture in English-speaking countries. However, we cannot assume that our students can study in English as they would do in their mother tongue. That is why we need a wide variety of resources, methodologies and strategies to boost our students¿ potential and get the most from them. Teaching and learning in an Andalusian bilingual school could be very rewarding for both students and teachers. Teaching Science, PE or Music in English requires many skills that can be carried out in coordination with the English teachers, because their subject (English) is a real instrumental area in these schools. Evaluating English with valid European standards and increasing the English level enable the students to improve their skills not only in the Foreign Language subject, but also in the bilingual areas. In this teacher training, we will deal with Cambridge assessments to coordinate the school language level.
