The Pedraza recreational area is located in Monte Públicos Coto Santa Eulalia y Coto Mayor, in the municipality of Ayamonte. It is a small mountain that holds a mass of stone pine forest and is located in an area near the Pedraza Stream, a tributary of the Guadiana.
The facility is located very close to exit 125 towards Villablanca on the A-49 motorway (Seville-Portugal), which greatly facilitates access for its users and visitors.
The area has all the basic elements that make up the recreational facilities of the Network of the Ministry of the Environment: Picnic tables and benches; barbecues; rubbish bins; a children's playground and signage. Also in the vicinity of the recreational plot, there is a small wooden viewpoint with views of the Arroyo Pedraza valley and the old bridge of the same name, a place associated with various legends and dark episodes.
The picnic tables and benches have been recently replaced to improve the quality and, above all, provide greater comfort for users, including the provision of elements adapted to people with mobility disabilities.
From the A-49 motorway towards Ayamonte, take exit 125 and immediately join a roundabout where we will head towards the town of Villablanca on the A-499 road. After about 500 metres, there is an access lane to the recreational area on the right-hand side.
