Abstract
The objective of the work is to know the potential of different landraces or ecotypes of chickpeas of Andalusian origin. The lines have been characterized and evaluated in different potential growing environments. The document collects the results of the characterization, as well as the average performance values of each ecotype for the environments where they have been evaluated, comparing them with a conventional control variety. As a general conclusion, note the great potential existing in the studied chickpea landraces, both as gene donor parents for plant improvement programs, and for their direct use as conservation varieties.
