Sondeo estratigráfico con secuencia bajomedieval, moderna y contemporánea en el mercado de Estepona (Málaga)

Abstract

Los cambios urbanísticos del siglo XIX en esta zona céntrica de la ciudad han eliminado casi toda la estratigrafía anterior. Solo han pervivido parte de dos fosas basurero nazaríes y un pequeño retazo de un edificio indeterminado, tal vez del siglo XVI. Por encima de ellos se sucede una amplia secuencia de explanaciones, rellenas y construcciones que se explican con detalle. The urban of the 19th century in this central area of the city have eliminated almost all of the previous stratigraphy. The only surviving remains are part of two Nasrid pits and a small piece of an undetermined building, perhaps dating from the 16th century. Above them there is an extensive sequence of levellings, fillings and constructions.
