Intervención Arqueológica Preventiva. Excavación arqueológica con sondeos en la calle Plaza Valdivia nº 8 de Baeza (Jaén).

Abstract

El presente artículo detalla los resultados obtenidos en la intervención arqueológica preventiva mediante sondeos arqueológicos llevada a cabo en la calle Plaza Valdivia nº 8 de Baeza, Jaén. En esta intervención, se ha localizado la cimentación de la vivienda demolida, del siglo XIX, así como el pavimento en sus distintos momentos y las reformas llevadas a cabo en ella. Se han identificado cinco fases cronológicas, todas de época contemporánea: Fase I: Siglo XIX; Fase II: primera mitad del siglo XX; Fase III: segunda mitad del siglo XX; Fase IV: años 80 del siglo XX; Fase V: Siglo XXI. This article details the results obtained in the preventive archaeological intervention by means of archaeological probes carried out in the street Plaza Valdivia nº 8 in Baeza, Jaén. In this intervention, the foundations of the demolished house, from the 19th century, has been located, as well as the pavement at different times and the reforms carried out in it. Five chronological phases have been identified, all from the contemporary period: Phase I: XIX century; Phase II: first half of the XX century; Phase III: second half of the XX century; Phase IV: 80's of the XX century; Phase V: XXI century.
