Intervención Arqueológica Preventiva en su modalidad Sondeos y Control arqueológico de los movimientos de tierra en Calle Albanchez de Mágina nº 39, SUPI I, (JAÉN)

Abstract

The property is included within Zone B, and within Level 3: AREAS OF MEDIUM ARCHAEOLOGICAL INTEREST, in the current Special Protection Plan of the Historic Center of Úbeda(Art. 49 and 51). The results obtained after our woks have been totally negative. No evidence of a period prior to the contemporary one has been detected. The stratigraphic sequence is composed of a series of two layers of erosive origin partially altered by the levelling of the area at the time of the construction of the foundation system of the industrial warehouse, prior to the start of the IAP whose final report concerns us.
