Intervención arqueológica preventiva en el Baño de Alfacar (fase 1) (Granada)

Abstract

Este trabajo tiene como objetivo exponer los resultados obtenidos en la I.A.P. realizada en el baño árabe de Alfacar. En esta fase se ha excavado en las tres salas del edificio. Se ha descubierto en la sala caliente el horno en su totalidad, algunos de los pilares del hipocausto, las lucernas y las seis chimeneas. Una vez terminados los trabajos de excavación se ha realizado la limpieza y picado de los paramentos de la sala caliente. This work has for objective to expose the results obtained in the I.A.P. carried out in the arab bath of Alfacar.The excavations have been carried out in the three rooms of the building. The furnace in its entirety, some of the pillars of the hypocaust, the skylights and the six chimneys have been discovered in the hot room. Once the excavation work was completed, the walls of the hot room were cleaned and chipped.
