Actividad arqueológica preventiva mediante control de movivmientos de tierra en calle Lagarto, 27 de Úbeda, Jaén

Abstract

La presente intervención arqueológica preventiva, se desarrolló con la finalidad de conocer el estado arqueológico de la parcela para la construcción de una vivienda unifamiliar y piscina ubicada en Calle Lagarto, nº 27 de Úbeda (Jaén). Con anterioridad a la construcción de la presente vivienda, había otra que se construyó a finales del siglo XVII o XVIII, con sus posteriores remodelaciones a lo largo de los años, y que fue derribada para la construcción de la actual. Durante la intervención arqueológica, se han documentado estructuras referentes a esa vivienda y a sus sucesivas fases de remodelación y adaptación a sus necesidades.

The present preventive archaeological intervention was developed with the purpose of knowing the archaeological state of the plot for the construction of a detached house and swimming pool located in Calle Lagarto, nº 27 of Úbeda (Jaén). Prior to the construction of the present house, there was another that was built at the end of the seventeenth or eighteenth century, with its subsequent renovations over the years, and that was demolished for the construction of the current one. During the archaeological intervention, structures have been documented regarding this house and its successive phases of remodeling and adaptation to its needs.
