Actividad arqueológica preventiva mediante análisis de estructuras emergentes en el convento de Santa Ana, en la calle Santa Ana, 21 de Villanueva del Arxobispo, Jaén

Abstract

La Actividad Arqueológica Preventiva de Estudio de Estructuras Emergentes llevada a cabo en el Convento de Santa Ana, en la calle Santa Ana, nº 21 de Villanueva del Arzobispo (Jaén), fue motivada por la recuperación, arreglo y puesta en valor de la fachada del convento. Pirnciplamente, el área estudiada fue la 1 o margen derecho de la fachada. La lectura paramental que nos han proporcionado las distintas UEM identificadas que indican la siguiente secuencia cronológica: construcción y ocupación del edificio en el S. XVI, reparaciones y modificaciones en el S.XVII y las últimas en época actual (SS. XX y XXI).

The Preventive Archaeological Activity of Study of Emerging Structures carried out in the Convent of Santa Ana, in Santa Ana Street, nº 21 of Villanueva del Arzobispo (Jaén), was motivated by the recovery, arrangement and enhancement of the facade of the convent. Initially, the area studied was the 1st right margin of the façade. The paramental reading provided by the different identified UEM indicating the following chronological sequence: construction and occupation of the building in the S. XVI, repairs and modifications in the S.XVII and the last in present times (SS. XX and XXI).
