| Resumen : | The opening of a new stone quarry in the orientalizing site of El Palmarón, near the ancient Niebla, gave way to and archaeological survey in which geophysical and archaeological surface prospections were considered the appropiated method to be used. While analized surface artifacts belonging to a wide chronologycal phase were considered to be in a post-depositional context caused by hill evolution and agriculture works carried out in the past, several geo-anomalities chartered are pointing out the posibility of their being funeray chambers digged underground, otherwise to be considere natural formed decalcification shafts/ wells due to geomorphological processes of "Niebla Calcarenites" subsoil. Further archaeological excavation was reconmented |
