SHORT BRIEF PROJECT:

TALENTIA POSTDOC start date, initially programmed for May 2011, was postponed to 2014 due to major Regional Government restructuring in Andalucía and severe budget restrictions due to the financial crisis in Spain.

Once the call was launched the program received 247 applications from 28 countries
around the world. An international evaluation committee of over 30 independent experts was set up and fellows were selected after a process consisting in 3 to 4 experts individually reviewing each application plus video-conference interviews to 40 best candidates.

All 16 fellowships were awarded in August 2014 and contracts started in October 2014. (4 incoming  - 12 outgoing schemes)
Fellows are carrying out their research projects in 22 different research institutions in 8 countries across Europe and America.
The programme will be fully executed by October 2016.
