CERRO DEL TAMBOR - Ventana del Visitante
On the undulating hills of the Strait, on the border of the municipality of Tarifa with Algeciras and following the line drawn by the Cerro del Tambor, the viewpoint that inherits its name overlooks the cliffs and points of the coastline of the extreme east of the Parque Natural del Estrecho.
Geological formations on the intertidal lines expose abrasion platforms and boulder coves along the entire coastline. Underfoot, Cala Arenillas, an exception among the pebbled coves of the park's Mediterranean coastline. The view in front shows us the Tolmo cove and Punta Acebuche behind it. On the other side of the Strait, the African continent is undoubtedly the main feature of the panoramic scene.
