DESCRIPTION

This viewpoint is located, as a balcony, on the path of the "Barranco de la Silla del Moro" trail, one of the beautiful trails that run through the Dehesa del Generalife Periurban Park. From this hillock we can enjoy unique and unconventional views of Granada. This beautiful panorama is an explosion of contrasts.

The Darro river basin hints at its journey towards the city of the Alhambra, while its waters were distributed through the historic canals (acequias) running alongside the paths. On the slopes, places as emblematic as the Abadía del Sacromonte, the Cerro de San Miguel or the very representative neighbourhoods of Albaicín and Sacromonte, are interspersed with small orchards and farmhouses alien to the madding crowd of the city. On the left, the ruins of the Silla del Moro, which, according to legend, was used as a shelter by the last Muslim king and from there he bewilderdly considered the end of his reign.
