This short route is suitable for all visitors and will show us a fairly complete representation of the landscapes and ecosystems typical of the Sierra de Castril Natural Park. It will take us through a Mediterranean forest, part in a state of full maturity, and part currently in different phases of regeneration.
Likewise, we will be able to contemplate extensive panoramic views of a limestone landscape in which the exuberance of the forest of the Castril bank stands out. And, at the end of the journey, a spectacular view of the Cerrada de la Magdalena, of its rocky walls from which the waterfall descends, which immediately create pools of great beauty.
Taking the Nacimiento lane heading north we will pass the El Cortijillo tourist camp, one kilometre further on, we will cross the Pino Hermoso bridge, the starting point of this hiking trail.
