CERRO DEL BUITRE - Ventana del Visitante
This itinerary crowns one of the highest levels of the Sierra de Castril Natural Park: the Vulture peak (2,020 m). The uniqueness of it and the landscapes that can be seen from it more than justify its ascent.
On the way, we will also have the opportunity to discover the high mountain pine forests, as well as the broom and peaks thickets, in many cases exclusive to these subbetic mountain ranges. From the summit we can see the mountains of the Sierra de la Cabrilla, La Sagra, Orce and María, Baza and the Sierra Nevada.
NOTICE
Access by forest track to the beginning of the Cerro del Buitre trail, about 4 km long, is in very bad condition, therefore it can only be accessed by 4X4 (off-road) vehicles.
