En ella se intervino extramuros del recinto amurallado en las laderas oeste y sur del yacimiento. Los resultados han sido de gran interés, documentándose nuevas estructuras domésticas en la ladera meridional y una antepuerta y antemuralla en la ladera occidental, que muestra lo complejo del sistema defensivo de Mojácar la Vieja. this paper summarizes the Phase I intervention of the General Research Project "From Magic Mountain to Andalusian Settlement: The Hill of Mojácar la Vieja in the Light of Archaeology," carried out in 2022. The intervention took place outside the walled enclosure on the western and southern slopes of the site. The results have been of great interest, documenting new domestic structures on the southern slope and an outer gate and outer wall on the western slope, revealing the complexity of the defensive system of Mojácar la Vieja. |

Se trata de un punto central en el municipio, articulando en torno a él todo el núcleo urbano y siendo uno de los puntos más importantes en el control del Marquesado del Zenete más oriental. El trabajo aquí presentado muestra la intervención realizada en el marco de Programa Provincial de Conservación y uso del Patrimonio Arqueológico y paleontológico rural (PPCPA) 2021-2022 con el que se llevó a cabo la intervención a finales del año 2022. La intervención arqueológica mediante sondeos ha permitido evaluar el estado de conservación de las estructuras, así como comprender la morfología de parte de los espacios intramuros del castillo. The castle of Dolar (Granada) is one of the castles that form part of the network of fortifications in the north of the Sierra Nevada. It is a central point in the municipality, articulating around it the entire urban centre and being one of the most important points in the control of the easternmost Marquesado del Zenete. The work presented here shows the intervention carried out within the framework of the Provincial Programme for the Conservation and Use of Rural Archaeological and Palaeontological Heritage (PPCPA) 2021-2022, with which the intervention was carried out at the end of the year 2022. The archaeological intervention by means of probing has made it possible to assess the state of conservation of the structures, as well as to understand the morphology of part of the spaces within the castle walls. | |

Es una fortificación conocida en las fuentes como Šant Afl¿¿, con una ocupación entre los siglos VIII y XIV. La campaña de dos semanas ha permitido caracterizar la fase final de ocupación (etapas almohade y nazarí), identificando la torre del homenaje y un aljibe desconocido hasta el momento. This paper presents the results of the intervention carried out in 2023 in the medieval castle of Cherín (Ugíjar, Granada). It is a fortification known in the sources as Šant Afl¿¿, with an occupation between the 8th and 14th centuries. The two-week campaign has made it possible to characterise the final phase of occupation (Almohad and Nasrid periods), identifying the keep and a previously unknown cistern. |
