Intervención arqueológica preventiva en su modalidad control de movimientos de tierra en las obras de modernización de regadíos de cr. Sector i de las Vegas Medias del Guadalquivir, en los términos municipales de Baeza, Bedmar y Jódar

Abstract

The I.A.P whose preliminary report concerns us arose in response to the planned works and taking into account the documentation provided by the IAPH and that obtained in the previous archaeological prospection, developed in the area of affection of the works. There are 27 archaeological sites cataloged in the surroundings of the irrigation modernization area,in addition to the five sites documented in the previous prospecting phase. The previous archaeological works also served to correct some errors of location and extension, being able to georeference the polygons of the sites already cataloged and the new documented. However, in the area of this first phase of work and thanks to the changes in the layout of the original work project, the results obtained after our woks have been totally negative. The area affected by the construction works, is devoid of archaeological fill, the geological matrix was documented, composed of clays with dentritic inclusions of the Neogene, practically on the surface.
