Intervención arqueológica mediante excavación con sondeos en calle Alhóndiga, nº 16 (Granada)

Abstract

Se presentan los resultados de intervención arqueológica preventivarealizada mediante un sondeo arqueológico en el nº 16 de calle Alhóndiga (Granada) a causa de la instalación de un ascensor. Bajo los rellenos del actual edificio se documentaron los restos de un empedrado y parte de una estructura pertenecientes a un antiguo callejón hoy desaparecido, datado en el siglo XVIII por los restos cerámicos y la cartografía histórica de Granada. We present in this paper the results of the archaeological excavation in the number 16 of Calle Alhóndiga (Granada), due to the deployment of an elevator. Under the levels of construction of the current building we discovered the remains of a cobbled paving and part of a structure from an old alley, nowadays disappeared, that dated back from the 18th century following pottery remains and the historical cartography of Granada.
