Actividad arqueológica preventiva mediante sondeo en calle San Matias, 23. Granada

Abstract

La actividad arqueológica mediante sondeo en la calle San Matías nº 23 viene motivada por la instalación de un ascensor en un edificio destinado a vivienda. Se realizo un sondeo de 1,45 x 1,75 m y 1,4 m de profundidad en el que apareció una estructura de ladrillo de 0,40 x 0,50 m y una altura de 0.40 m a una cota de -1,10 m. Esta estructura aparece adosada a un muro de ladrillo de 0,70 de altura que tiene funciones de cimentación con el inmueble actual. Como restos cerámicos apareció en contexto de relleno un fragmento de azulejo tipo sevillano posiblemente del siglo XVIII. The archaeological activity by archaeological sounding in C/ San Matías nº 23 is motivated by the installation of an elevator in a building intended for housing. A borehole of 1.45 x 1.75 m and 1.4 m deep was carried out in which a brick structure of 0.40 x 0.50 m and a height of 0.40 m appeared at a height of -1.10 m. This structure appears attached to a brick wall 0.70 high that serves as the foundation for the current building. As ceramic remains, a Sevillian-type tile fragment appeared in the context of the filling, possibly from the 18th century.
