The continuous action of wind and rain on these mountains has produced weird and wonderful geological formations you can see on your visit to this nature area. The most spectacular examples are the well known Las Maravillas Cave in Aracena, open for visits since 1914, and Peña de Arias Montano Peak in Alájar, an impressive rocky outcrop with Los Ángeles Shrine at the top and stunning views of the surrounding mountains.
