LOS VILLARES - Ventana del Visitante
Near the city of Córdoba and inside the Los Villares Periurban Park is the visitor centre of the same name. The tour inside invites you to take a trip through the Protected Areas present in the province of Cordoba, where the Sierra Morena mountain range is home to open oak woodlands (dehesas) and Mediterranean mountains, indisputable protagonists of a mountain landscape that, in addition, is an important refuge for endangered species. But the relevance of the water present in lagoons and rivers cannot be forgotten, along with the wealth of nature they hide.
The exhibition itinerary continues through the underground world with its incredible karst formations of cavities and galleries caused by the dissolution of limestone rock. Finally, the development of organic farming and livestock is shown with examples of sustainable production systems that respect the environment around us.
