Vegetation and land cover
Environmental indicators aredeveloped formonitoring the state of vegetation,
enabling the characterizationof phenomena suchas drought andhydrological
stress situations. Moreover, land covermonitoring inAndalusia is conductedon
thebasis of the current edition of the Spanish Land Cover Information System
(SIOSEby its acronym in Spanish) updated in 2011,which keeps adetailed scale
level 1:10,000.
