The exhibition All the Imagined Places –Scepticism, Relativity and Simulacrum– is a proyect derives in two opposing theories that need each other in order to exist, the utopia and the distopia, and is presented as a reflection on our present time that also aims to assess the future in store for us, drawing spectators into a kind a new time-territory that ignores the rigid system in which we live and move and instead gives free rein to imagination and individual creativity. It is done taking of a reference Gaston Bachelard's essential postulates on poetic daydreaming as our guide, where images are only presented to us in their pure, immutable form in a state which he calls "poetic daydreaming": a whole series of preconceived notions about the lived environment, principally the concept of the "home", which pertain to cultural tradition and can only be accessed through imagination, memory or daydreams.
It is a group show with an intensely theatrical mise-en-scène designed to seduce visitors and make them actors in a performance based on scepticism, relativity and the simulacrum of the image.

Málaga, 1986
Studied Architecture at the Universidad Europea de Madrid (2004-2012) and Fine Arts at the same university (2004-2011). She has received her MFA from Goldsmith’s University in 2015. Her work explores different formats and media while searching for halfway situations between art, architecture, theatre and movement. She has recently been awarded withBotin Foundation International Visual Artist Grant, ARCO 2016 Young Artist Award Solán de Cabras and New Contemporaries ICA London.
She has exhibited internationally, including: Liverpool Biennale ( 2016/ GB); E-Werk, Freiburg (2016/DE); and exhibited nationally, Collection of Russian Museum St. Petersburg/Málaga (2016/ES); CAAC, Seville (2916/ES): MUPAM (2016/ES); Jose La fuente Gallery, Santander ( 2015/ES), amongst others.
Málaga, 1991
Completed his BFA at the University of Málaga and went on to earn an MA in Research in Art and Creation from the Complutense University of Madrid.
In 2014 his first one-man show entitled Juegos de construcción was held at the Málaga Fine Arts Faculty Gallery. His second solo exhibition, Modular Pavilion, opened in 2016 at Columna JM in Málaga.
He has also participated in several group shows, most notably T(RE)Silience, T(RE)Silence, T(RE)Sidence (Municipal Archives of Málaga), Saque de puerta (Centro Arte Complutense, Madrid), El ojo efervescente (Provincial Cultural Centre of Málaga) and IKAS ART, the International University Art Show in Bilbao.
Gonzalo has received distinctions and awards in several contests, including the 30th BMW Painting Prize, the 17th Complutense Youth Award, the Málaga Crea Visual Arts Show, NordArt 2015, the University of Málaga Painting Prize and the Griffin Art Prize. He has also been awarded various grants such as the 4th Encontro de Artistas Novos Cidade da Cultura Grant, the 2nd Graduate Artist-in-Residence Grant from the University of Málaga's Fine Arts Faculty, and the Cienfuegos Production Grant.
Córdoba, 1987
Has a BFA from the University of Seville and has rounded out his education with different workshops and courses on curating and developing artistic projects. He currently lives in the United Kingdom. He has received grants and awards from various institutions, including Fundación Viana - Bilbao Arte, the AlNorte Grant, D-Mencia and the Fernando Quiñones Competition. Additionally, his work has appeared in numerous group exhibitions such as La Gran Máquina II (Museo Cal Trepat, Lleida), M2/M3 (Móstoles Civic Centre, Móstoles) and Puertas Abiertas (Bilbao Arte, Bilbao), and his solo shows include La Fábrica (Palace of La Merced, Córdoba), TaTaTaTam (Sala Guirigai, Los Santos de Maimona, Badajoz) and Rompida (Museo Barjola).
Since 2012, he has co-directed and curated "Z: Contemporary Art Symposium of Montalbán, Córdoba", a project that aspires to bring art and the public closer together by exploring the possibilities of contemporary art in the rural world. As a visual artist, Demetrio’s works incorporate a wide range of media, from painting and sculpture installation to video and sound art. He addresses socio-political themes such as communication/non-communication, the human condition and personal relationships, always seeking to convey multiple points of view with a heavy dose of criticism and irony.
Jerez de la Frontera, Cádiz, 1984
Earned a BFA and an MA in Research in Art and Creation from the Complutense University of Madrid, after which she completed a special course on Graphic Design and Printed Project Management at the Professional School of New Technology.
As an artist she has been selected to participate in several competitive events, including the Contemporary Art Encounters of Alicante and those organised by the Tomás y Valiente Art Centre in Fuenlabrada and Lacolect in Madrid, and she was awarded the Un Futuro DEARTE Prize. She has also had numerous solo and group shows in Spain. She currently lives and works in Madrid, where she develops her art projects.
Using the landscape as both medium and material, Blanca creates drawings in space that attempt to reflect essential structures and rhythms as the core and basis of everything. And she does so in a context where material and visual overload and excess have reached the point that we no longer see, perceive or possess, because everything is ephemeral and replaceable.
Seville, 1991
Earned her degree in Art History from the University of Seville and later completed an MA in Architecture and Historical Heritage at the same school. In addition, she has taken various courses on curating and developing exhibition projects at Fundación Valentín de Madariaga y Oya-MP (Seville) and on the art market at the Sotheby's Institute of Art (London).
She has worked as a curatorial assistant on several exhibitions, including El impact de lo viejo at Fundación Cajasol, Seville, and Expectativa y Memoria. España-Marruecos. XX/XXI, organised by Fundación Ankaria in the Sala del Apeadero at the Reales Alcázares of Seville.
Sara currently works at the Valladolid art gallery La Gran, where her duties include general coordination and communication activities, thanks to a 2016 Emplea Cultura job grant received from Fundación Banco Santander. She is also the coordinator and editor-in-chief of Presente Continuo, an online portal dedicated to archiving and promoting contemporary Andalusian art.
