La zona se encuentra catalogada en el nivel B, correspondiente a Servidumbre Arqueológica, según el Plan Especial de Protección y Reforma Interior del Casco Histórico de Jaén.; The construction project defines the works to undertake for the comprehensive rehabilitation of the road system in a degraded area of the historic complex of Jaén, within the surroundings of San Miguel (Jaén), specifically the repair and rehabilitation of the streets: Carnero, San Miguel, Cuesta de San Miguel, Lavanderas, San Juan de Dios and Plaza de Santo Domingo. However, this report will only focus on Phase I of said action, which refers to Carnero and Plaza San Juan de Dios streets. The area is classified at level B, corresponding to Archaeological Servitude, according to the Special Plan for Protection and Interior Reform of the Historical Center of Jaén. |

Today, Úbeda is one of the 15 spanish cities that are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The results of the excavation of the surveys have been positive archaeologically, since we have found ceramics dated between the 16th and 18th centuries, as well as a stone structure, which corresponds to a corner wall, which possibly belonged to the entrance to a canteen of the house from the Renaissance or modern period. | |
