Statistics and cartography have, among their specificities, the need to produce and disseminate information disaggregated territorially that responds to the demands of the management of public administrations and society.
The Department of Sustainability and Environment, as a member of the Statistical and Cartographic System of Andalusia, carries out different statistical and cartographic activities, considered necessary to achieve the objectives and information needs included in the Statistical and Cartographic Plan of Andalusia in force, also promoting knowledge of the state of the environment in Andalusia.
