The Fellowship

SINGLE CALL WITH 16 FELLOWSHIPS

The Talentia Postdoc Fellowship Call will give the opportunity to 16 experienced researchers to carry out their research with complete independence in their chosen destination. The program includes outgoing and incoming mobility schemes:

Outgoing mobility fellowships 

allow experienced researchers, residents of Member States or Associated Countries, to work between 12 and 18 months in their selected destination universities and research centres, and then spend a period of between 6 and 12 months in their selected agent of the Andalusian Knowledge System.

Incoming mobility fellowships

allow experienced researchers to carry out their research for 24 months based in their selected agent of the Andalusian Knowledge System. Applicants to this scheme may originate from any country inside or outside Europe.

In line with the rationale and principles of the People Programme within the FP7, researchers will be able to freely choose the field of study and the country where research is undertaken.

Research projects must comply with the ethical requirements of the 7th Framework Programme for Research and Development of the European Union (FP7).

In compliance with the ethical principles of the FP7, the following research areas are excluded from this call irrespective of their legality in individual countries:

a) Research activity aiming at human cloning for reproductive purposes

b) Research activity intended to modify the genetic heritage of human beings which could make such changes heritable (research related to cancer treatment of the gonads can be financed)

c) Research activities intended to create human embryos solely for the purpose of research or for the purpose of stem cell procurement, including by means of somatic cell nuclear transfer.

In order to verify that the funded research project does not infringe the established ethical principles in this call, prior to the signing of the contract it will be reviewed by the Ethics Committee. The ethical aspects of the research project will be subjected to specific monitoring along the project.

The applicants shall be considered a beneficiary of the EC Marie Curie action of the EC (Marie Curie fellow).
