The space where the new equipment will be housed is in the Biobank preservation room, which is maintained at a constant 19ºC, which allows the equipment to be kept in a controlled temperature area that favors its useful life, and minimizes the risks of technical failures. The equipment will be connected to the Hospital's generator set and will not be affected by power outages or electrical problems.

The ultrafreezer is high-end equipment, which makes it suitable for the conservation and preservation of samples for short and long periods of time. Its high performance will allow the storage of biological samples in high quality conditions for use in research.
