The Biobank of the Public Health System of Andalusia participates in the Bio International Convention 2021

The Biobank of the Public Health System of Andalusia (SSPA) has participated, through the Transfer Office of the Progreso y Salud Foundation, in the Bio International Convention 2021 , which was held virtually between June 10 and 18 . This event, considered the largest global event in the area of Bio (Biomedicine, Biotechnology,...), has allowed the SSPA Biobank to strengthen public-private relations in the sector and publicize everything that the Biobank offers to the investigation.

During these days, the SSPA Biobank together with the FPS OTT, organized a set of meetings with different types of companies, both start-ups and more consolidated companies from different countries, all with a common objective, to find solutions to the challenges posed. .

The participation of the SSPA Biobank in this type of event is of vital importance to know first-hand the current needs demanded by the biomedical sector and therefore offer innovative solutions that adjust to these needs.

In this sense, the SSPA Biobank has been supporting the development and growth of the biomedical sector for many years through collaboration and continuous improvement, thereby accelerating discovery and innovation, being a link between donors, clinicians and researchers. . All of this is due to close work, hand in hand, with the research community, academic, clinical and industry experts.
