FAAM Gold to nine people and entities for their work towards disability in a year suffered by COVID
The 18th edition of these awards took place in the assembly hall of the Gravely Affected Residence
The Almería Federation of Associations of People with Disabilities (FAAM), has recognized with its gold awards the people and entities that have worked for the group in a year suffered by the Covid-19 pandemic. One recognition that reaches its eighteenth edition and that has been awarded to a total of nine categories to people and entities that, with their work and effort, promote the social inclusion of people with any disability.
The assembly hall of the FAAM Residence for Seriously Affected Persons has been the place from which the entity has carried out this event in person, which after the online edition of the previous year, resumes in-person presence with limited capacity and all measures. of possible control. As the president of FAAM, Valentín Sola, has pointed out, the winners “have been a reference for society and in which we want them to be reflected because they work daily to improve the lives of people with disabilities.”
The Health Delegate of the Board, Juan de la Cruz Belmonte, has expressed his pride in the recognition made by FAAM, “to the work that we are doing from the Delegation together with the reference hospitals of the province and the disability associative fabric. represented by FAAM.” “This coordination is very important, and for this I committed to having periodic communication so that this was possible.”
“We have realized that this is good and I am grateful to be able to be in the middle doing this work. I want to thank all the associations for the work they are doing for these people with different abilities. The objective of the Junta de Andalucía is to reach all of them and guarantee them the best quality of life,” the delegate concluded.
