PTS Granada will present IAVANTE and the Biobank at the "Espacios de Innovación APTE" conference

The Health Technology Park (PTS) of Granada will once again be the protagonist in a new edition of the ‘Espacios de Innovación APTE’ conference, organised by the Association of Science and Technology Parks of Spain (APTE), which this year will be held on 18 and 19 November. This event seeks to connect science, research and business with citizens, opening the doors of cutting-edge scientific and technological infrastructures. 

On this occasion, the PTS Granada will have a double representation to show its potential in the field of health and innovation: the Biobank of the Public Health System of Andalusia and the IAVANTE center. 

Biobank: an infrastructure key to research 

One more year, researchers, companies and citizens will have the opportunity to learn about the Andalusian Biobank, a strategic initiative that works as a network of centers dedicated to the collection, processing and custody of human biological samples and associated data. 

This infrastructure is critical to the advancement of medicine and biomedical research, offering high-quality scientific services under a strict ethical and legal framework. Participation in the conference will allow attendees to discover how these essential resources that support national and international research projects are managed. 

IAVANTE: advanced clinical simulation for care safer sanitary 

As a great novelty for this edition, it joins the IAVANTE conference. IAVANTE's Advanced Clinical Simulation Centre, located in the PTS Granada, is a public centre for teacher training and innovation where healthcare professionals prepare to face complex clinical situations. 

Its installations reproduce with great realism operating rooms, emergency rooms and other care environments, and incorporate advanced simulators and innovative technologies applied to health learning. Undoubtedly, a reference space to strengthen professional skills and contribute to safer and higher quality health care for citizens. 

With the participation of both entities, the PTS Granada reaffirms its commitment to scientific dissemination, the transfer of knowledge to the business community and the approach of medical innovation to society within the framework of the APTE initiative.
