Training workshop aimed at, on the one hand, providing knowledge about the System Biobank Public Health of Andalusia, its operation and its importance in the clinical and scientific field in relation to biomedical research, and on the other hand, to impart updated notions of the research reality and its ethical/legal framework in reference to human biological samples as well as the necessary requirements to make use of them in research projects research.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
General Objectives
The general objective of this training workshop is, on the one hand, to raise awareness the operation of the Biobank and its services and, on the other hand, provide notions on ethical and legal aspects concerning the management and use of human biological samples in research projects.
Specific Objectives
- Give to learn about the operation of the SSPA Biobank and the services it offers to the research community.
- Offer the necessary support and knowledge for the correct use of human samples in research projects and, also, the necessary documentary procedures to it.
