OBJECTIVES OF LEARNING
General Objectives
Train healthcare professionals on the concept, operation and regulation of Biobanks for research purposes biomedical.
Specific Objectives
- Know the Biobank of the Public Health System of Andalusia, (hereinafter, SSPA Biobank) its structure, organization, operation and the activity carried out.
- Know the strategic lines in infectious diseases, blood-oncology diseases and "rare/minority" diseases.
- Know the current legislation applicable to the collection and use of samples and/or its associated data for biomedical research.
- Train health professionals in concepts and procedures related to the collection, registration, traceability, processing and conservation of biological samples, within the framework of the quality management system of the Biobank of the SSPA.
