The headquarters of the PTS Granada Foundation has hosted a meeting of the Granada Health working group, with the participation of thirty public and private entities at the regional and local level linked to the field of health sciences, technology and business. The day has allowed them to resume and coordinate their activity, share proposals, renew their commitment to this project, and establish a roadmap for the coming months. A work agenda composed of joint actions and the implementation of initiatives aimed at promoting the innovative potential in the health sector of Granada, and its strategic projection under the common brand Granada Salud.

Granada Health is part of the key objectives of the Department of University, Research and Innovation of promoting and coordinating scientific and technical research, knowledge transfer, support for technological innovation and business investment in technological matters, as well as development of entrepreneurial culture and technological entrepreneurship in the region.

Granada Salud is made up of a network of resources for the development of the health sector made available to any company, researcher, entrepreneur or citizen. The Granada Salud meeting has made it possible to renew the commitment of all the agents involved, and to develop a methodology for the coordination, dissemination and updating of the Granada Salud communication channels. A joint work system with the aim of making Granada visible and positioning it as a benchmark for health innovation. Through its website and Granada Salud social networks, news will be disseminated, events organized and milestones generated in this area will be disseminated. And a series of recommendations included in a Good Practices Manual will be put into practice to promote the impact of Granada Salud's communication among the profiles of its members.

Another of the strategic lines, which will be worked on in the coming months, will be aimed at reviewing and updating the catalog of services available through Granada Salud. In addition, the launch of a commission for the organization of joint activities and events. The first of them will be the III PTS Research Congress, an event that was very successful in previous editions and will be a great opportunity to publicize the research potential of the Granada health ecosystem.

During the day, the managing director of the PTS Granada Foundation, Luis González, highlighted the importance of "joining efforts and the value commitment that the Granada Salud brand represents, to encompass and project the potential for innovation and economic development of the province." And it has realized its significance within the strategic lines of the Granada technology park, as “a valuable tool to promote the growth of the main health innovation ecosystem in Andalusia.” Finally, it has been agreed among all members to invite them to participate in the Granada Salud group of new entities of interest.
