In addition to registering their existence before the competent authorities, every public or private institution that wishes to obtain stable human pluripotent trunk cell lines, hESCs, or hiPSCs for the purpose of biomedical research must deposit a sample of their cell lines at the National Bank of Cell Lines for storage and transfer to any researcher who may request a particular cell line.
